Rememberance day 2022

Last Sunday, 13th of November 2022, after the Remembrance Day parade, we finally laid to rest our regimental guidon at Sherbrooke’s City Hall. The mayor Évelyne Beaudin warmly welcomed us and offered a perfect location to expose our battle honours. The Guidon will be publicly exposed at City Hall until the regiment can get back in permenent facilities.

The colours were originally lodged at the William Armoury, where many units, still perpetuated by The Sherbrooke Hussars, use to train. The 53rd Sherbrooke Regiment was the first military unit to occupy the Armory back in 1912, and the Sherbrooke Hussars is the last.
